Who We Are
Tanzania Youth Forum (TYF) is an independent, inclusive and strategic national youth platform committed to advancing youth participation in governance, leadership, policy dialogue, research, innovation and sustainable development. The Forum serves as a bridge between young people, government institutions, the private sector, civil society organizations and international development partners. TYF operates as a unifying voice for youth across Tanzania while strengthening youth connections within Africa and beyond.
BACKGROUND AND RATIONALE
TYF was established in response to the growing need for a strong, coordinated and credible national youth platform capable of organizing youth voices, addressing youth challenges, and unlocking youth opportunities in a rapidly changing global environment.
VISION
To be the leading and most trusted national voice of youth in Tanzania and a key connector of African youth for inclusive and sustainable development.
MISSION
To empower young people to actively participate in national, regional and continental development through inclusive leadership, policy engagement, research, innovation, technology and strategic partnerships.

GOVERNANCE AND LEADERSHIP
Tanzania Youth Forum (TYF) is governed by a Board of Directors and managed by a National Secretariat responsible for strategic leadership, program implementation, partnerships and institutional development.
